CHOIR BANQUET
The choir banquet is Wednesday, November 19, beginning at 6pm. Dinner will be served at 6:30pm. Entertainment will be a program from the VMLC followed by dancing. THE BANQUET IS OPEN TO FAMILIES! Cost is $13 for choir members and $14 for non-choir members. Reservations are due by Monday, Nov. 17. click here for a registration form.

Several fundraisers are currently available to students wishing to earn money for the NYC trip. See below for details.

CHOIR PARENTS
The New York trip is now CLOSED. If you are still interested, we are accepting names for a wait list only.

The choirs at BBHHS are planned with a sequence in mind that introduces the student to vocal music, then gets increasingly more challenging with experience.

FRESHMAN CHOIR	Builds from the vocal music experiences of Middle School and introduces the student to more complex concepts.
A CAPPELLA CHOIR	Consists generally of sophomore vocal music students, although also offered for entry-level older students and students with schedule conflicts.
WOMEN'S CHOIR	Junior and senior women selected by audition. These are the more serious vocal music students and they work on music that gets into four or six-part harmonies.
MADRIGAL CHOIR	Juniors and seniors who are more serious music students. This group tackles very difficult musical pieces.
MEN'S CHOIR	An extra-curricular choir at BBHHS, this group is open to men from all four grades. They meet on most Fridays after school.
MUSIC IN MOTION (MIM)	A group of men and women ranging from sophomore to senior who audition and begin rehearsing during the summer for a very full year of performances. This group produces the show "A Ticket to Broadway" in January or February each year, which is the major fundraiser for the entire vocal music program.

NEW YORK CITY FUNDRAISERS

We will be providing several opportunities for fundraising for students going to NYC in the spring.

1. Poinsettia Sale - this fundraiser is conducted by Orchestra Boosters, but is open to all students going to NYC. This fundraiser is currently underway and order deadline is November 19, 2008. Click here for an order form.

2. Holiday Gift Book - Sale starts November 2. This beautiful book is jam packed with items from jewelry to food and the wraps and trims to make them the perfect git. Ask your student! Out-of-town friends and family? have them visit the webstore at www.allamericanfr.com. Please be sure to remind them that you are with Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School Choirs!
